Division 11On-Site Presence. Mobile Reinforcement. One Connected Security Team.

Hybrid Patrol

Hybrid Patrol is OVPSS's flexible security solution designed to give clients the benefit of a dedicated on-site security presence backed by a network of mobile patrol officers.

Overview

How this division works.

Traditional security can leave one officer responsible for handling an entire property — even when a situation suddenly involves a large crowd, multiple individuals, or an escalating incident. With OVPSS Hybrid Patrol, your on-site officer isn't operating as an isolated post. They are connected to our mobile patrol network for additional security support when circumstances require it.

An assigned OVPSS officer remains on-site to provide your property's primary security presence: monitoring daily activity, conducting property checks, assisting employees, residents, customers, or visitors, and responding to routine security concerns. At the same time, OVPSS Hybrid Patrol Officers operate throughout designated service zones conducting randomized patrols, property checks, and scheduled checkpoints.

When an on-site officer encounters an incident requiring additional security personnel, Dispatch can redirect available nearby Hybrid Patrol units to reinforce the on-site team. Response is coordinated based on unit availability, officer proximity, traffic and travel conditions, incident type and priority, and other active calls for service. This provides clients with access to additional security resources when available without requiring multiple officers to remain stationed at the property at all times.

Capabilities

What we deploy.

On-Site Security Presence

An assigned OVPSS officer remains on-site to provide your property's primary security presence, monitor daily activity, conduct property checks, assist people on site, and respond to routine security concerns.

Mobile Patrol Network

Hybrid Patrol Officers operate throughout designated service zones conducting randomized patrols, property checks, and scheduled checkpoints — adding an additional layer of coverage across participating locations.

Mobile Reinforcement

When an on-site officer encounters an incident requiring additional personnel, Dispatch redirects available nearby Hybrid Patrol units based on availability, proximity, traffic conditions, incident priority, and other active calls.

Randomized Patrol & Property Checks

Mobile units conduct randomized visits throughout the client's coverage period, creating a less predictable security pattern while increasing visible security activity around entrances, parking areas, exterior grounds, and designated checkpoints.

Unified Reporting

On-site and mobile patrol activity is connected through one reporting system, with documentation covering officer activity, mobile checkpoints, property checks, incidents, and reinforcement responses.
