All invoices must be paid within 15 calendar days of the invoice issuance date.
Invoices remaining unpaid 10 calendar days after their due date are subject to a 10% late fee, with an additional 10% assessed every subsequent 10 days, subject to applicable law and contractual terms.
All invoices issued by Opulence Security operate under NET 15 payment terms unless an alternative arrangement has been approved in a signed written agreement.
Opulence Security maintains a structured late-payment policy to encourage timely payments and prevent ongoing outstanding balances. Under this policy:
Each 10% fee is calculated on the original unpaid invoice balance, not on previously assessed late fees. Fees are cumulative rather than compounded. Late fees apply only where permitted by applicable law and authorized by the governing client agreement.
Example invoice amount: $3,000
| Payment Status | Late Fees | Total Balance |
|---|---|---|
| Due Date — Day 15 | $0 | $3,000 |
| 10 Days Overdue | $300 | $3,300 |
| 20 Days Overdue | $600 | $3,600 |
| 30 Days Overdue | $900 | $3,900 |
| 40 Days Overdue | $1,200 | $4,200 |
This illustration assumes no payments have been received. Actual charges are subject to the signed service agreement and applicable law.
Opulence Security takes outstanding balances seriously. Continued late payments may result in:
Our priority is to resolve outstanding balances professionally while maintaining safe and dependable security coverage.
Clients who believe an invoice contains an error should contact the Opulence Security billing department promptly. Billing disputes should identify the invoice number, disputed amount, and reason for the dispute.
Submitting a dispute does not automatically extend the payment deadline. Any payment adjustment, extension, or fee waiver must be approved in writing by an authorized Opulence Security representative.
All businesses contracting with Opulence Security are responsible for reviewing their invoices, coordinating with their finance departments, and ensuring payment is received by the applicable deadline.
Failure to receive internal approval, delays in payment processing, or communication issues within a client's organization do not automatically waive agreed payment obligations.
